Universities vary in their provision of scholarships. We can help you identify the universities that have scholarships on offer and help you with the application. Some universities allow PHD students to apply for the post of assistant lecturer and this should help with living expenses. Additionally, EMS University Consultancy can help individual students apply for discounts in study fees. This is on a case by case basis and is very much at the discretion of the universities concerned.

What if I do not have IELTS?

You get conditional approval without IELTS and can study and sit for the IELTS exam while studying at respective universities. You usually have to gain IELTS within a year of acceptance to the relevant universities. Some universities offer additional English language courses to help you with IELTS preparation.

What is the IELTS band score needed for admission into Malaysian universities?

Different universities set different requirements. But as a general rule to enrol for a Diploma course you need a score of 5; Bachelor: 5.5. to 6, Masters 6 and above and PHD 6.5 to 7.
